In 2004, the Church of God appointed Bishop Polk to a humble storefront church—but God had placed a vision within him that far exceeded the space he started in. With faith and determination, Bishop Polk and First Lady Polk stepped out in 2006 to purchase land and establish New Birth Community Outreach, a ministry built on prayer, purpose, and community transformation. Since then, Bishop Polk’s leadership and ministry have continued to flourish—spiritually, numerically, and in its impact on the surrounding community. Deeply committed to outreach and collaboration, he partners with city officials, local leaders, and neighboring ministries to bring positive change and hope to families throughout the region. Today, New Birth stands as a testimony of what faith, vision, and perseverance can accomplish when God’s purpose leads the way.
